NowRolling Privacy Policy
Effective September 29, 2026
This policy explains how NDNA Innovations Inc. (“we”, “us”) handles information in NowRolling, our teleprompter and camera app for iPhone and iPad.
The short version
- NowRolling doesn’t collect personal data. There are no accounts, no ads, no analytics and no tracking.
- Your scripts and takes stay on your devices and in your own iCloud. We never see them.
- Speech recognition runs on your device.
- Apple handles all purchases. We never receive your payment details.
Your content
Your scripts, projects and recorded takes are stored on your device. We don’t operate a server for NowRolling, and the app doesn’t send your content to us.
If iCloud is on for NowRolling, your scripts, projects and app settings sync between your own devices through your iCloud account. Apple stores that data in your private iCloud storage, and we can’t see it. Recorded takes are not synced; they stay on the device that recorded them. You can turn iCloud off for NowRolling in Settings.
What the app asks to use, and why
- Camera: to record your takes, and to scan printed pages into a script.
- Microphone: to record the audio of your takes, and to listen so the script keeps pace with what you say.
- Speech recognition: to match what you say to your script. Recognition runs on your device.
- Photos: to save takes to your photo library when you turn on Save Takes to Photos, and to keep your folders and favorites in step with matching albums in Photos.
- Local network: to find your own other iPhone or iPad on the same Wi-Fi, so it can control a take from across the room. This connection stays on your local network.
- Notifications: to remind you two days before a free trial ends. The reminder is scheduled on your device.
You can turn any of these off at any time in Settings. Parts of the app that need them will stop working until you turn them back on.
Purchases
Subscriptions and the one-time Pay Once purchase are processed by Apple through the App Store. Apple tells the app that a purchase was made so it can unlock Pro. We don’t receive your name, email address or payment details. Apple’s own privacy policy applies to your App Store account.
Information Apple may share with us
If you choose to share analytics with app developers in your device settings, Apple may give us crash reports and usage statistics. Apple provides these without identifying you. We use them only to fix problems.
Backups
Content stored on your device can be included in your iCloud or computer backups, depending on your own settings. Those backups, and iCloud sync, are handled by Apple or by you, not by us.
Children
NowRolling is not directed at children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect information from them.
Your rights
Because NowRollingkeeps your content on your devices and in your own iCloud, you control it: deleting the app deletes its data from that device. If you have emailed us and want that correspondence deleted, or have any question about your privacy, contact us and we’ll respond as required by Canadian privacy law.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we’ll update this page and its effective date. If a change affects what NowRollingcollects, we’ll say so here before the app update that makes the change.
